This helper uses the same geometry as the aim calculator. You enter lamp height, wall distance, and the cutoff line height you want on the wall. Drop is lamp height minus line height. Angle is the inverse tangent of drop divided by distance, with distance converted to inches. After a valid estimate you can print a wall mark that shows the line in inches and centimeters. The figure is not a manufacturer wall chart and not a shop procedure.

Worked numbers from this formula
Lamp at 30 in and a line at 30 in is not a downward drop. The estimate stops at the line field.
The same 2 in drop at 10 ft is about 0.95°. Closer walls make the same drop look like a steeper angle.
Questions
Is this a printable SAE chart?
No. After a valid estimate the page can print a wall mark with the line height you entered. That sheet is not a regulated SAE or FMVSS target.
Why must the line sit below the lamp?
This helper treats drop as downward. A line at or above lamp height is not a downward cutoff, so the estimate does not invent an upward aim.
